Article 1 Acquisition and Use of Personal Information

We will use personal information only within the scope of the stated purpose of use after clarifying the purpose of use. The purpose of use shall be clearly stated in the personal information management ledger, and the personal information manager shall be responsible for establishing and implementing procedures to ensure that personal information is not used for purposes that deviate from the purpose of use. In addition, the Company shall establish an internal management system and take safety control measures to ensure that personal information is not used beyond the scope of the purpose of use.

Article 2: Management and Protection of Personal Information

Personal information shall be strictly managed and shall not be disclosed or provided to any third party without the consent of the customer. In order to prevent leakage, loss, or damage of personal information, the following security control measures shall be taken. In addition, we have established and implemented procedures to prevent problems from occurring, and if a problem should occur, we will promptly take corrective measures to prevent recurrence. (Some of the security measures we will take include: limiting who can access personal information, setting access privileges to personal information, taking measures against unauthorized access to networks and terminals, setting or encrypting passwords for personal data, and restricting the export of personal data to external storage media.

Article 3 Governing Law, Education, etc.

The Company shall comply with all applicable laws, regulations, national guidelines, and other norms regarding the handling of personal information held by the Company. In addition, we will conduct educational and enlightening activities for our employees to ensure that they are aware of the importance of personal information.

Article 4: Response to Inquiries and Complaints

The Company shall establish a system and procedures for receiving and responding to inquiries and complaints about personal information held by the Company, and shall respond promptly to such inquiries and complaints.

Article 5: Continuous Improvement of Personal Information Protection Management System and Structure

The Company will continuously improve its management system and framework for personal information protection.

Publication of Purpose of Use of Personal Information

1. When we acquire personal information, we will do so in an appropriate manner in compliance with the law. When we intend to acquire personal information and receive it directly from you in writing or via the Web, we will clearly state the purpose for which the personal information will be used. We will not use the information for any purpose other than the stated purpose. In case of use, we will obtain prior consent from the customer. However, if the purpose of use is clear from the circumstances at the time the information is provided, we may omit specifying the purpose of use.

2. We will use personal information for the following purposes, except when personal information is provided directly by the person in question.

  1. ＜1＞ To accurately respond to inquiries and requests from customers.
  2. ＜2＞To confirm the contents of contracts and to manage the work of employees of business partner companies.
  3. ＜3＞To perform work within the scope permitted by the business operator to whom personal information has been outsourced.

Note, however, that ＜3＞is not information subject to disclosure by the Company.
